The National Academy of Best Selling Author’s Best Sellers Summit was an exciting captivating experience for all 149 best selling authors who were in LA to receive an Award The Quilly Award. I am thrilled to say I received two.

Staged at the iconic Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood it is the only historic hotel in Hollywood operating today.

Opening its doors in 1927 and playing host to the very first Academy Awards in 1929 the history throughout the hotel added drama to the mystique of the place as authors from around the world gazed in awe of what had occurred in these hallowed walls. It is also where Marilyn Monroe graced her presence. History is everywhere!

Needless to say right outside the hotel’s doors is the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the stars imprinted into the sidewalk seem to go forever.

At one evening event I met a fascinating and inspiring woman Dr. Caroline Manuel who despite her advanced MS still confidently consults as a Consultant Psychiatrist in addition to writing a best seller and her reason for being at the Summit.

For me the reason I attended the Best Sellers Summit is because of two books Cracking The Success Code with Brian Tracy and the second was The Success Secret with Jack Canfield.

In the first I wrote about “Fear is a Gift in Disguise” and is a true story of my feelings going through some very difficult times in my life.

The second I wrote about “Beyond Life’s High Hurdles Lies Success” and another true story of the darkest time of my life and how with time I not only overcame the serious illness but am now helping others achieve a new life too.

Both books are available on my website but in eBook form right now.

There is so much to talk about particularly some of the incredible inspiring, serious for a moment hilarious speakers and I will write about these in the coming days.

There’s much more to come from my Hollywood experience!
